Farro & broad bean
Another specialty is “FARRO & BROAD BEAN”, a combination of farro (66%) and broad beans (33%) giving particular sensorial and nutritional characteristics, in addition to a distinctive taste. Broad beans, with their high protein content (about 30%), low calories (one-third of cereals), as well as an extreme high content of noble fibers (the soluble ones), give to the product an important nutritional value.
This product won in 2011 the Anuga award (the world’s largest and most important fair for food and beverage), in Cologne, Germany, as “the best Innovative Product”, for its tasting and nutritive properties. “VEGAN OK” also certified it as suitable food for vegans.
Our different varieties are: penne rigate, strozzapreti, farfalle, sedanini and fusilli. Also available in 150 gr packets.
