On November 23, 2017 the unique cultural exibition called “Il caso Pirandello” opened in Rome, at the Villa Torlonia Theatre and at the former house of the Italian playwright and poet Luigi Pirandello.
Luzi endorsed such event with a specific campaign celebrating the 150 years after the birth of Pirandello.
Another important step forward for our company that, with this decisive cultural cooperation, intends to demonstrate to the general public its sensitivity towards Italy’s greatest asset: ART.
The first part of the exhibition takes place at the House Museum where Luigi Pirandello lived and where there his private objects are still kept: his slippers next to the bed, the letters, the military uniform, the Nobel, the photo of his muse, the actress Marta Abba, and his cigars in the drawer.
The second part of the exibition, inside the Villa Torlonia Theatre, shows Pirandello’s impressionist paintings, his letters to the beloved Marta and the kids, the hand-painted covers of his diaries and much more.
A warm greeting,
