The Rete Sinagri is a network of farmers operating in over 1500 hectares of land in central Italy. Leading all this marvelous chain, composed of 150 organic farms, is the Azienda Agraria in the family LUZI, which entrusts the most excellent seeds to the Rete Sinagri, checking the cultivation, the natural fertilization methods, as well as ensuring the collection of the products. But its work does not end here.
As many of you already may know, we boast several years of experience in the cultivation of fields using sustainable agricultural practices and reducing envirnonmental impact. The Rete Sinagri represents a good synergy between our health and the wellness of the environmental, thanks to the return to the ancient methods of organic farming, today mostly forgotten.
The value of this meticulous work is not only economic, given the obvious advantages as the basis of its market, but also and especially by historical, cultural and social benefits. For such reasons, we adopt and we ask our farmers to use a homeodynamic and biodynamic method of cultivation, in observance of the biological and biodiversity cycle.
Using those natural methods, our fields are protected by important plants diseases, containing weeds and pests without using weedkillers and pesticides. Thanks to pioneering cultivation methods, LUZI is growing year by year the fertility of its lands, recovering the damages of late frosts and helping the plants when necessary.
In this way, we put nature at the service of nature, as we mantain from generations, without distorting the vital processes. We do it with the same passion and love which accompany the long years of work that have seen the production of farro and legumes in Italy grow.
